WeaveMove privacy policy

WeaveMove collects only what it needs to work and to get better. We show no ads, don't sell data and don't share it with ad networks or tracking services.
On your device
Timer settings, chosen exercises, your own sets and break statistics are kept on your device. Break notifications are scheduled by the app itself, with no server. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Anonymous usage statistics
To understand how people use WeaveMove, the app and the site send events to our server weavemove.com: opening the app, starting and stopping the timer, a break, a snooze, an exercise done, picking and saving a set, opening an article. With them go a random device code the app makes itself, the platform, the app version and the language. The names and texts of your own sets and exercises are not sent. We don't store IP addresses.
Detailed events are kept for about 13 months; after that only daily totals without the device code remain. You can turn the statistics off in the timer settings with "Share anonymous usage statistics": nothing is sent then, and whatever was still waiting is deleted.
Account
Signing in is optional. If you sign in, we keep your email, your name if you give one, the dates you registered and signed in, and the devices you signed in on, to show your statistics from all of them together. To sign in we email you a one-time code through a mail service. No password is needed or stored. To delete your account and its data, write to us.
Updates
To find out about a new version, the app asks weavemove.com for the latest version number. The interface font is loaded from Google Fonts, as on an ordinary website.
Comments on articles
Comments on the articles at weavemove.com/articles are stored on our server: your name, the text and your email if you gave one (it is never shown). To fight spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself. The text is checked against the comment rules by Anthropic (Claude) or by our moderator. To have your comment removed, write to us.
